Taken as part of the Photo 101 challenge – today’s theme ‘Glass’.
I’ve used today’s theme as an opportunity to play with camera settings and light. I was quite pleased with some of the abstract effects I achieved, especially by cropping right down and flipping on to its side. I think it gives a nice stained glass window look. What do you think?
Yes, if only there was more time to play…..
…… maybe tomorrow ………..!
I like the flipped-around pop art versions, although I must say that the shapes of the different bottles are fascinating in all of the versions. Great job with the theme.
Thank you. Yes, I scoured the house for as many different shapes and colours I could find. Of course, since this morning I’ve found better ones….!
I love the almost black and white effect with just a hint of colour. Very well done
Thank you. I’d like to say it was intentional but… 😉
Always fun to play with camera settings. To learn different effects of the light. You have done well!
Thanks Jeff. I’m afraid time disappears though. I should really be getting on with the housework….
Love the colours and playful use of shapes and light
You’ve had great fun with that I love the top one very dreamy almost x
Thank you. I was surprised by the contrasts as they were all taken in natural light at the same time of day. I did fiddle with them a bit afterwards, but generally it was the camera settings that gave the effects.
yes its great to experiment but sometimes the light does that for us x
